Upgrades to the Cambridge Town Hall

The hall is undergoing the first stage of upgrades to the building. The work is scheduled for January to June 2025.

Overview
The Cambridge Town Hall Community Trust, with support from Waipā District Council, commenced renovation works in January 2025.
The works comprise of upgrades to the Victorian and Edwardian Rooms, air conditioning throughout the hall, plus both roof repairs and replacements.
As with any heritage building, the work is complex, and the trust was happy with the skill and knowledge from Woodview Construction, OCTA Project Managers and a wider pool of skilled trades people to lead us through this next phase of the building’s reactivation.
The work begins in the Victorian room and is scheduled to take 10 weeks, before progressing to the Edwardian Room and kitchen. The work is due for completion mid-June.
